Kid to Killer by Paul McGraw
Welcome on this beautiful Saturday to my blog.
Today, I am reviewing a book that was, read by my daughter, and I together! when I initially received the book for review, my daughter, Angelica fell
in love! She said she had to read it with me!
Here the synopse:
a 15 year old boy sees it as his duty to rid Edinburgh of the scum that preys on the innocent people of the city. He finds that to punish the guilty, he must first face fear, loss and betrayal. He will soon discover things aren't always as they seem, and there are other people who have uses for young killer as well as bigger forces at play..
So, the story starts, with the boy telling us some details of his everyday life, where he grew up etc. There are a lot of interaction with other teenagers and adults alike. My Daughter says that she really enjoyed the way he interacted , and all the lessons learned! Being a teenager is hard work!
I would say it's not a fast paced thriller, but we definitely enjoyed the story very much. It's much different than the typical police-procedual books I tend to lean to. A refreshing different story, with a great ending! Again, solid 4 stars, from Angelica and I.
Thank you once again Anne for allowing me to participate. Thanks also to the author, Paul McGraw as well!!
