SLOWLY WE DIE BY EMELIE SCHEPP
Good day to my lovely book loving people!
Thank you to Harper Collins USA for my free ADVANCED READING COPY of SLOWLY WE DIE in exchange for my honest review.
Here is a little bit about the book:
A patient's accidental maiming leads a young surgeon to abandon his profession... Now, 10 years later, a series of gruesomely Senseless murders are rocking the medical community. The weapon? A surgical scalpel. Who is playing on these victims? What does the grizzly pattern reveal? And who will be next? Special prosecutor Jana Berzelius is in charge of the investigation. What she can't know until finally closing in on the murderer is how her own Mother's recent death is intimately connected.
This was one of my most anticipated books for 2018, and I was not disappointed! I absolutley love Jana Berzelius! She is such a strong woman and I remember when I first read the first book in the series, I was hooked. This installment, it had a medical twist to it. Very intresting and intriging. I could not tie Jana's mother's demise to the other murders, which was awesome. I wish and hope that Emelie continues this series, with this set of characters. Danillo is another one! :) I almost want them to have a love connection! This book is paced well, anf will leave you wanting more. I was turning pages until there were no more to turn!
I want to give this book 5 stars. I am so happy I had this oppurtunity to be able to review one of my favorite author's books. Thank you again to Camille @ Harper Collins!
